The chip carved frame is hand made- each one hand cast from an antique original, then hand painted for you.

• The scrimshaw engraving starts as an original in fossil material, engraved by master artisan Kim McClelland. A mold is made of the original and each piece is hand cast in resin, picking up all of the intricate cuts of the original design. The piece is then hand inked to draw out the detail, and finished as your work of art.
